For homeowners and owners of problem projects

Renovations, and the projects that went sideways.

Some renovations start with a plan. Others start with a problem. We handle both, from a new kitchen to a job another contractor walked away from.

Planned renovations

  • Kitchens and bathrooms
  • Additions and layout changes
  • Whole-home renovations
  • Updates before a sale or a move-in

Problem projects

  • Stalled or abandoned contractor work
  • Failed inspections and code corrections
  • Open or expired permits
  • Water and structural damage repairs
  • Repairs found in a pre-sale inspection

Taking over a stalled project

First we find out where things really stand.

An unfinished project rarely matches the paperwork. We start by seeing it for ourselves.

  1. Walk the site

We look at the work in place, the plans and the permits.

  2. Document it

You get a written record of what is done, what is wrong and what is missing.

  3. Plan and price the finish

A clear scope, schedule and price to complete the project properly.

  4. Finish it

We correct what needs correcting, close out inspections and hand the home back to you.

Questions

Common questions

My contractor stopped showing up. Can you help?

Yes. Start by telling us what was supposed to be done and what state the work is in now. We will set up a site visit to see it for ourselves.

Can you fix work that failed inspection?

Yes. Send us the inspection report if you have it. We will review the findings, correct the work and help get the inspection closed.

Would you buy the house instead?

Sometimes that is the better answer. Because we also invest in property, we can talk with you about selling as-is if finishing the work is not right for you.

A planned project or a problem one, a short description is enough to start.
