Invest · Build · Renovate

What it is.What it could be.

Janus Equities acquires, builds and renovates residential property, with one team accountable for both the numbers and the work.

01 Two sides

Every property is two properties.

The one standing there today, and the one it could become. Investors tend to see only the numbers, builders only the work. We were built to see both, and to deliver the second without losing sight of the first.

03 Why it works

Investing, building and repair, under one roof.

We price deals like builders

Every acquisition is judged by people who know what a roof, a kitchen or a foundation repair really costs, before an offer goes in.

We build like owners

On our own projects we are the owner who has to live with the result. Client homes are held to the same standard.

We finish what others leave behind

Construction problems are where projects lose time and money. Resolving them is part of our everyday work, not an exception.

04 Process

Look both ways, then build.

Four stages, one team. The people who plan the numbers are the people who run the site.

  1. See both sides

We walk the property or the lot and record what is there today, and what it could become.

  2. Plan the numbers and the work together

Scope, schedule and budget are set by the same team, so they agree with each other from day one.

  3. Build or renovate

Our team runs the work, with regular updates on progress, cost and anything that changes.

  4. Hand over, hold or sell

You receive your keys, the home joins a portfolio, or it goes to market, depending on the project.

05 Questions

Before you ask.

Do you work with homeowners, or only investors?

Both. Homeowners engage us to build new homes and to renovate. Investors partner with us on properties we acquire, renovate and build. You do not need to invest to work with us, and you do not need a project to invest.

Can you take over a project another contractor started?

Yes. We walk the site, document what was done and what needs correcting, and give you a plan and a price to finish. Stalled and unfinished projects are a regular part of our work.

Do you acquire homes that need work?

Yes. If you own a property that needs more work than you want to take on, tell us about it. We will look at what it is today and what it could be, and let you know if it fits what we acquire.

Where do you work?

Tell us where the property is when you get in touch, and we will let you know right away whether it is in our area.

Begin

Every project begins with a conversation.

Tell us about the property, the lot or the project. A few details are enough to start.
